THE NEW DECISIONS TAKEN BY THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE CURFEW

A curfew will be applied starting from 26 January 2021 22:00 until 10 February 2021 05:00, depending on the exceptional conditions stated below.

NICOSIA: FROM JANUARY 27, 2021 (00:01) TO FEBRUARY 03, 2021 (23:59)

KYRENIA: FROM JANUARY 27,2021 (00:01) TO FEBRUARY 10, 2021 (23:59)

In districts other than Nicosia and Kyrenia:

(1) From January 26, 2021 at 22:00 to January 27, 2021 05:00, and

(2) A curfew from 22:00 until 05:00 will be applied from January 27, 2021 20:00 to January 29, 2021 05:00.

Within the context of the additional precautionary decisions taken on 26.01.2021 by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases on Corona Virus (Covid-19) and decided to be implemented by the Ministry of Health, entry and exit to Kyrenia and Nicosia districts from other districts is not allowed.

Within the context of the additional precautionary decisions taken on 26.01.2021 by the Higher Committee for Infectious Diseases on Corona Virus (Covid-19) and decided to be implemented by the Ministry of Health, individuals in all districts in the TRNC, with the exception of private sector personnel who are permitted to work addressing basic needs as well as public sector personnel who provide crucial services (police, fire department, municipalities, civil defense, health workers and district offices) are forbidden to leave their residences from January 29, 2021 20:00 until February 1, 2021 05:00.

All members of the public are urged to adhere with the decisions. Those who violate the conditions will be subject to legal prosecution.
